John Sergides is CEO of MUFG Investor Services. Before becoming CEO in 2019, John served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Global Head of Sales and Marketing.
For more than two decades, John has been a leader in the financial services industry, focusing on investor services and asset management. He has significantly expanded the Investor Services offerings to include business process outsourcing, escrow services, fund financing, foreign exchange overlay, Limited Partner servicing, private debt solutions, securities lending, subscription lines of credit, ESG solutions and business consulting.
During his tenure with the firm, Investors Services’ assets under administration have more than doubled from $300 billion to over $1 trillion, and John has overseen the acquisitions of Neuberger Berman’s Capital Analytics, Guggenheim Investments’ Rydex Fund Services, Maitland’s hedge fund administration business, and Point Nine Limited.
John joined MUFG in 2015, following the acquisition of UBS Alternative Fund Services, where he had served as head of sales and business development at UBS Global Asset Management.
Prior to UBS, he worked at Deutsche Bank, where he was Global Head of Transaction Banking Cross Sales in the Investment Bank and Financial Institution Group units, and Global Head of Business Development and Strategy Transaction Banking in the Alternative Fund Services unit. John joined Deutsche Bank from JP Morgan, where he served as Executive Director and Head of Hedge Fund Services Solutions and Sales. He began his career with roles at Barclays Capital, CLR Financial Group, HSBC Group and Point Nine Financial Technologies. John serves on the boards of directors for the Imperial College Foundation and Arkadia Asset Management AG and serves as an Innovation Board Member at Rutgers University. He earned a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Imperial College in London.
Chief Risk Officer & Head of Global Controls
Daisuke Akagi is the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Global Controls for MUFG Investor Services. Daisuke is currently responsible for the company’s Finance, Risk, and Compliance and Internal Audit reporting lines. He has worked for the MUFG organization for over 26 years, holding roles in Japan and the United Kingdom within Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (“MUTB”) until 2024 when he joined MUFG Investor Services.
During his time with MUTB, Daisuke held various positions within the company, which included leadership roles in the Global Investor Services Sales, and Investor Service Planning divisions. More recently, Daisuke was the Managing Director of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. and Deputy General Manager of Investor Service Banking division.
Daisuke earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kwansei Gakuin University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Hitotsubashi University.
Chief Operating Officer
McAllister (Mac) Kirschner is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for business and banking operational teams, and public and private market businesses.
Mac became COO in 2018 and has served as Global Head of Relationship Management. He joined MUFG Investor Services in 2016 from BlackRock, where he served as a Managing Director in Global Fund Services, where he led teams responsible for shareholder servicing, fund administration and trade operations focused on Blackrock’s Alternative Investments Business.
Prior to joining Blackrock, Mac led the Investor Relations team at Quellos Group, LLC, until Blackrock acquired the Private Fund’s business.
He serves on the board of directors O’Dea High School, and has served on the Finance and Audit Committee of College Access Now. Mac earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University in Finance, Marketing and Decision Sciences.
Chief Commercial Officer
Joseph (Joe) Latini is the Chief Commercial Officer for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for business development, global sales, marketing and business consulting.
Joe became Chief Commercial Officer in 2023, after serving as Global Head of Business Development, Global Head of Client Service Management and Client Integration and Executive Director, Relationship Management. He joined MUFG Investor Services in 2017 from ENSO Financial Analytics where he served as Director of US Sales. Prior to that, Joe held senior relationship management roles in Morgan Stanley’s Prime Brokerage business.
He has volunteered with organizations including Camp Fire NJ, Interfaith Caregivers, It’s From the Sole, the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Everybody Wins!, College Summit, and the RBI Foundation.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Drew University.
Chief Strategy Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Daniel (Dan) McNamara is the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Financial Officer for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for the finance function as well as overseeing delivery of the firm’s strategy, including the implementation of new lines of business, geographic locations, and M&A activity.
Daniel joined MUFG Investor Services in 2019 after a decade at Deutsche Bank. There he served in a number of leadership roles, including Digital Business Development Officer & General Manager in Cash Management, where he led the commercialization of, and investment in, financial technology opportunities. He held several roles in Securities Services, including Head of UK Custody & Clearing and Multi-Market Access, Head of Investor Services Solutions, and Head of Strategy for Institutional Cash Management & Securities Services.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Daniel worked at National Australia Bank, Barclays Bank, and Commonwealth Bank.
Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Queensland University.
Chief Human Resources & Legal Officer
Sarah Mears is the Chief Human Resources and Legal Officer for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for people strategy, culture, diversity and inclusion and internal communications.
Sarah joined MUFG Investor Services in 2018, with experience in organizational change and transformation after holding senior HR roles at MasterCard, Barclaycard and Unilever, where she served as Global HR Director and HR Business Partner.
Prior to Unilever, Sarah worked at companies in several industries, including Ryder Logistics, BASF, Woodbridge Foam Corp. and Johnson Controls.
Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Geography from University of Reading.
Chief Technology Officer
Evangelos Skianis is the Chief Technology Officer for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for IT architecture, customized development solutions, client facing technology and data strategy.
Evangelos joined MUFG Investor Services in 2019, after co-founding two firms, Lendwise Ltd. and Finovex, where he also served as chief technology officer. He was a consultant for Point Nine Ltd and Tide, and worked at Ancoria Bank as Chief Operating Officer and Consultant to the Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to that, Evangelos was head of Head of Systems Development and Head of Issuing Business at FBME Card Services, where he served as Head of Issuing Business and as Head of Software Development. Earlier in his career, he worked with a number of firms including TSYS Card Tech, Joannou & Paraskevaides, Thomson Financial and Deutsche Bank.
Evangelos received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University.

Sonia Bhasin is the General Counsel for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for legal and corporate governance functions.
Sonia joined MUFG Investor Services as Global Head of Legal in 2020 from LumX group where she worked as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to that she served as General Counsel or head of legal and compliance for several firms, including Ivaldi Capital, RiverRock European Capital Partners and Decura. Sonia has extensive experience on the buy and sell sides in investment banking, asset management and alternative investment funds domiciled in Ireland, Luxembourg, Channel Islands, BVI and Cayman Islands.
Earlier in her career, she worked for companies including UBS, Permal and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc.
Sonia earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from City, University of London.
Global Head of FX Services
Hans Jacob Feder is the Global Head of FX Services for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for the FX business.
Hans joined MUFG Investor Services in 2020 from J.P. Morgan Securities Corporate & Investment Bank, where he served as Head of FX Services Execution, Currencies & Emerging Markets and directed the Passive Currency Overlay (PCO) business with $70 billion in hedge notional in the FX overlay program. Prior to that, he was Head of the Nexus Platform, Equities.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, Hans was head of dbSelect, OverlaySelect and FX Trading for Deutsche Bank’s Asset and Wealth Management group, and earlier served similar function in Complex Risk Trading for Corporate & Investment Banking. Hans began his career as a Executive Director, FICC Marketing Strategist in the Securities Division of Goldman Sachs.
Hans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy, Robotics and Estimation Theory from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Global Head of Fund Finance
Benjamin (Ben) Griffiths is the Global Head of Fund Finance for MUFG Investor Services. Ben leads the fund financing team globally focusing on the financing needs of clients. This includes originating and structuring solutions for fund of hedge funds via credit facilities and private equity, real estate, debt and infrastructure funds via subscription lines of credit, and FX lines for feeder fund of hedge funds.
Ben joined MUFG Investor Services in 2017 from Citco where he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Citco Financial Products. Before becoming Chief Executive Officer, Ben was Head of Front Office globally for Citco Financial Products. Prior to Citco, Ben worked on the Fund Linked Products desks of Bank of America and Societe Generale.
Ben received a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Bristol University.
Global Head of Business Operations
Alan Kennedy is the Global Head of Business Operations for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for all operational teams globally. He serves on the Board of Directors of all MUFG Cayman legal entities. Alan assumed his current role in 2022, after serving in several leadership positions, including Global Head of Client Operations, Head of Banking Risk, Head of Client Service Bermuda and Global Head of Single Manager Product. He also served as Head of Operations for Bermuda, Cayman and New York.
Prior to joining MUFG in 2013, Alan served as Head of Operations-New York and Head of Operations and Middle Office-Cayman Islands for Butterfield Fulcrum. Earlier in his career, he was finance manager for ANZ Retail’s New Zealand Division and a financial accountant for GE Finance and Insurance.
Alan is a chartered accountant and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Trinity College, Dublin, and an Advanced Diploma in Marketing from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Head of the Cayman Bank
Michael (Mike) McCabe is Head of the Cayman Bank for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for revenue generation, banking product optimization and cash management across the alternative asset servicing and banking platforms.
Mike assumed his current role in 2023 after serving in several leadership positions including Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of Business Development and Product.
He joined MUFG Investor Services in 2016 from BNY Mellon where he served as a Managing Director in their Alternative Investment Services division, where he led the business development team focused on hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and other private funds.
Prior to BNY Mellon, Mike worked in trading roles at several firms including NUI, Commodities Corporation and Tricon USA. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rider University.
Global Head of Public Markets
David (Dave) Rochford is Global Head of Public Markets for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for business process outsourcing, fund of funds, hedge and traditional business lines.
Dave previously held leadership positions that included Head of Hedge and Traditional Funds; Head of Hedge, Private Equity and Real Asset funds; and Chief of Staff to the group CEO. In addition, he is co-location head for Ireland.
Following MUFG’s purchase of UBS Alternative Fund Services in 2015, Dave served as the Head of Transition Management. He joined UBS in 2004, rising to Head of Regulatory Product Development globally. Prior to UBS, he worked with Daiwa, Bank of Bermuda, and Bank of Ireland Security Services.
Dave is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Dublin City University, and an ACCA in Accounting and Finance from the Independent College Dublin.
Global Head of Private Markets & Change
Daniel Trentacosta is the Global Head of Private Markets & Change for MUFG Investor Services, responsible for overseeing the Private Markets Lines of Business, including strategic platform execution, revenue generation and market positioning, as well as the Global Change program.
Daniel assumed his current role in 2020, after serving as Global Head of Business Process Outsourcing, Global Head of Project Management and Executive Director, Business Development.
He joined MUFG Investor Services in 2016 from Och-Ziff Capital Management Group, where he was Treasury Controller. Prior to that, he worked in senior roles at Morgan Stanley in Prime Brokerage. Daniel started his career at J.P. Morgan Chase in Client Service.
Daniel has served as a board member and coach for Youth Baseball and Football programs. Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, with a Minor in Rhetoric and Public Address, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance from St. John’s University.
